A nominee director is given the role of a non executive director on the firm’s board of directors, in place of another person, investor or financial institution. he is required to conduct Annual General Meetings and to file Annual Return to Accounting Compliance Regulatory Authority of Singapore, (ACRA) and submit its corporate taxation returns to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).

The usual time duration for registration is 1 hour. In case the business activity requires permission from the relevant authorities, then it may take up to 7 working days.
